Our environmental, social and business objectives are to:

• Promote environmental sustainability through the development of green clean renewable energy projects at the community level;
• Promote the social and economic well being of communities through the development of locally generated, green, clean, renewable energy projects;
• Promote economic and environmental sustainability for communities looking to reduce their green-house gas footprint;
• Provide communities with customized, renewable energy solutions COMBINED WITH an ownership formula that facilitates local-based investment in indigenous renewable energy assets.

To achieve these objectives we:

• Facilitate self determination and empowerment of communities to develop their own renewable energy projects through economically viable joint ventures;
• Encourage and assist communities to mobilize private and public resources to support their renewable energy projects and help them understand the various options to make the most profitable, environmentally sound choices.
• Support municipalities and organizations such as emerging and established community foundations/trusts, and rural co-operatives, both public and private, which seek to develop local renewable energy projects; and
• Provide investment, engineering and technical assistance.
